Gifting Ideas
The GIFTING IDEAS was a project working in the e-commerce department of Adolfo Dominguez for the Christmas Promo of 2022.
GIFTING IDEAS project was the result of a series of iterations created for the Christmas Promo of 2022 in the Adolfo Dominguez website.
In this project I was in charche of the overall design of the diferent steps of the purchase process. Being that the design of the 'Style Selector' and the product grid. Due to tecnical limitations, all these pages were made manually.
The project started at the Sales department where they wanted to improve sales in a selection of products that belonged to the newest Season at the time for the Christmas Campaign. The main objective of this Campaing was to give ideas to the clients to gift to thier loved ones as Christmas presents.
For this they came up with the idea of dividing those selected projects in three different categories: ESSENTIAL, TRENDY and VANGUARD.
I´ll describe the project from the POV (point of view) of the client.
First, if you enter the Adolfo Domingez homepage you were able to see a banner with the Christmas Promo with a CTA ('call to action' button) that will link to the next step, the 'Style Selector'.
In this page the client could see the mentioned categories, which were created for the client to select the Style he or she was more identified with (that's why we called the following pages 'STYLE SELECTOR').
My team and I had to decide later on how to display those categories on the website. So after a series of designs, my department (e-commerce) in agreement with the department of Sales, Communication and Digital Marketing selected this layout as the best choice to our objectives.


Once the client has chosen the style that fits best with him/her, they will be redirected to a custom product grid where they could find products that fit within the caracteristics of the chosen style.
These grids were redesigned to make a difference compared with the standard product grid that are used in the rest of the website. Noto only that but we included in the bottom of the page a series of CTA's that linked with the other

Our Analyst team were in charge of following the visits of the pages showed above and to detect improvements in the purchases of these products. I cannot share the exact data but at the end of the Campaign the results were better than expected thanks to the collaboration of the different departments involved on the 'Gifting Ideas' project.
